"Very nice guest house would recommend highly"

- old world charm with modern day facilities
Today's fishing village
has changed little in some respects since the 17th Century,
indeed records show that the harbour was active as far back as the
13th Century when it was used as a point of export for
coal.
'harbourlight' guest house overlooks this bustling
fishing community, and the short walk through the village
takes you to the colourful port which is a hive of activity,
both with the large number of leisure craft sailing out into
the azure bay and fishermen landing their catches of shellfish
and other tasty morsels. This source of culinary delights is
reflected in the many and varied restaurants and inns that are
to be found around the port, to suit all tastes and
pockets.

You can sit overlooking
the sandy beach or harbour, and take in the bustle of life. Yet, just
around the corner, you can lose the rest of humanity and relax on one of
the various secluded beaches. It is the friendly and warm welcome that you
will experience both in the village and our guest house that makes us so
popular with our guests who return time and time again to enjoy the
'harbourlight' welcome and relaxation.
